MANDATED PROGRAMS
ACHIEVEMENT WEEK
The program is designed to honor and recognize individuals at both local and international levels who have made significant contributions to community upliftment. This is a celebration of achievement and a way to highlight the impactful efforts of community members and brothers of Omega Psi Phi.
SCHOLARSHIP
The program is dedicated to promoting academic excellence among undergraduate members of Omega Psi Phi, as well as providing financial assistance to both student members and non-members. It aims to support educational achievements and reduce the financial barriers to higher education.
SOCIAL ACTION
The Social Action Program is designed to engage chapters of Omega Psi Phi in a variety of community service and upliftment activities. It aims to have a positive impact on local communities through direct involvement in initiatives that address social issues, support community development, and enhance the quality of life for individuals.
TALENT HUNT PROGRAM
The Talent Hunt Program aims to provide exposure, encouragement, and financial assistance to talented young individuals participating in the performing arts. It seeks to recognize and support emerging talents in fields such as music, dance, theater, and other performance arts, with the potential for winners to receive recognition and college scholarships.
MEMORIAL SERVICE
The Memorial Service is conducted to remember and honor the fraternity members who have passed away, particularly those who have entered Omega Chapter, the fraternity's designation for deceased members. This service is a time for reflection, remembrance, and celebration of their contributions and lives.
RECLAMATION AND RETENTION
This program is a concerted effort across international, district, and local levels to engage brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity who have become inactive and to retain the active membership. It focuses on welcoming back inactive members to full participatory status and ensuring that active members find value and engagement within the fraternity to maintain their active status.
COLLEGE ENDOWMENT FUND
The College Endowment Fund is dedicated to furthering Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's commitment to education and philanthropy by providing financial support to historically Black colleges and universities. Each year, the fraternity pledges to donate at least $50,000 to assist these institutions in their educational missions and support the broader community.
HEALTH INITIATIVES
The Health Initiatives program is designed to engage fraternity chapters in promoting health awareness and encouraging good health practices within their communities. Through various events and activities, the program aims to address critical health issues, provide valuable health information, and support healthier lifestyles among fraternity members and the broader community.
VOTER REGISTRATION, EDUCATION & MOBILIZATION
This program aims to engage chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in facilitating, participating in, and leading activities that promote voter registration, voter education, and voter mobilization within their communities. It underscores the fraternity's commitment to civic engagement and the importance of the vote in shaping our societies.
NAACP
This initiative underscores the fraternity's commitment to civil rights, social justice, and community advocacy by requiring every district and chapter to maintain a Life Membership at Large in the NAACP. Furthermore, it encourages all fraternity members to join the NAACP, supporting its mission to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.
